Fellowship with One Another

There is a theme throughout the New Testament; to love one another. And it presents a strong point: we aren’t to try to live the Christian life on our own. We are instructed to meet together on a regular basis to fellowship and to pray together. It’s for encouraging one another and for sharing God’s Word. Not meeting together can quickly become a habit, and habits are hard to reverse. So excuses for not doing so will become the norm.
We need encouragement from other believers if we are to keep moving forward. It also helps avoid being pulled off track. Encouraging one another gives a connection to the importance of living with peace with other believers.
As the day draws near for the Lord’s return it’s good to gain strength for the trials that will come upon us. God is our lifeline we can hold on to. And Christian friends are God’s helpers for us, while we live on earth.
