Love One to Another

When men (and women) are bound together – not by force or self-interest, but by the God given gift of love, they will show the working of an influence that is above every human influence.

Where this oneness exists, it is evidence that the image of God is being restored within humanity, and a new way of living has been implanted in hearts. It shows that there is power in the divine nature to withstand any supernatural agencies of evil. The grace of God subdues man (and woman’s) selfishness where it then becomes inherent in the natural heart. Jesus says, “By this shall men know that you are My disciples, if you have love one to another.” (My thoughts for easier reading, with The Desire of Ages, p. 678).
