An Example for Jesus

The apostle Paul carried with him through his life on earth the very atmosphere of heaven (remarkable). All who associated with him felt the influence of his connection with Christ and companionship with angels (beautiful thought). And so here lies the power of truth.

The unstudied, unconscious influence of a holy life is the most convincing sermon that can be given in favor of Christianity. Look at your life, and the image you portray to others. Do you portray Christ, or His counterpart?

Argument, even when unanswerable, may provoke only opposition; but a godly example has a power which is impossible to wholly resist. (My added thoughts, with The Story of Redemption, p. 318).
