The Perfect Pattern

As you commune with God and compare your life with the perfect Pattern, you will see nothing good in yourself. In fact you might shed some tears because of failures and shortcomings that have been made visible to you. And though you may feel sad, those tears are not a sign of weakness. Look at those tears like raindrops that precede the sunshine. That sunshine eventually breaks through because the right thing to do is to seek after the holiness of Jesus and desire nothing of yourself. Sorrows you feel can eventually turn into joy that will be like a living fountain of fresh, pure, and cool water in your soul. When Jesus pardons, it’s because He first knows that you are sorry for the things you have done wrong.

If you come to Jesus with a repentant heart, He will freely forgive your sins and cover you with His robe of righteousness…….a most beautiful act of grace.
