In the parable of the lost sheep, Christ taught that salvation does not come through seeking after God, but through God seeking after you. A beautiful thought is that you do not repent in order that God may love you, but He reveals to you His love in order that you may repent.

Contemplate the awesome beauty of God’s grace to you, as a sinful and broken person and accept the embrace as He stands waiting for you to step into His open arms. Feel what it’s like to be loved and cherished so lovingly that there will be no doubt in your entire being that that is where you will always want to be held (My thoughts with Christ’s Object Lessons, p. 189).
