The Lord Knows

Some make think they know someone close to them quite well, but the fact is, only the Lord knows the hidden things in the hearts of all people. Another thought is that the Holy Spirit is the One who knows the hearts of people the most intimately…….think about that.

There are those you pray for because you think they are struggling in their Christian walk. You may be impressed to pray for them because you don’t see signs you expect to see, and you might think they aren’t seeking the Lord. Don’t be disheartened, but pray for yourself that you will foster trust in God. Don’t lose hope. You need to cling to that hope within you. Be assured that the Holy Spirit’s work is often subtle. His work is going on and often won’t be noticed or seen. Remember this; His work is not always instant like we want it to be. The Spirit patiently works with His subjects and is the One that transforms hearts. We need to step aside. Our job is to have faith and pray.
