Separation From the World

God would do great things for (His) people if they would separate themselves from enjoying things in this world. If Christians would submit to be led by Him, He would make them a praise in all the earth. Separation from the friendship and spirit of the world is what is needed if we want to be united to the Lord. Do you not know your strength and prosperity consists in your being connected with the Lord? There must be no union between the light and the darkness that enters your life each day. You must choose to be separate from the world, and become living examples of holiness. Your goal should be to enlighten those you come in contact with; with the light of God’s Word that is available to you. Neglect it not! It is only through the grace of Christ you will be strengthened and matured to do His bidding while you are succumbed in this world and mortgaged to Satan. What light you have been given will judge and condemn if it is neglected or turned away from. Time is running out; who around you needs to know Jesus is their friend (My thoughts added with Testimonies for the Church Vol. 2, pages 125 and 689)? Sherry
