Prayer Moves Heaven

The things we have done in our lives must not be allowed to place a period to our work. We are ever to endeavor to advance in the cause of reaching out to save souls. One day we will no longer be able to work spreading the Word about our Lord, and Savior. So no matter your age, your lamp is to be kept burning until the work on earth is finished. For any of us our work could be done in the very next second, minute, or hour. You need to realize that prayer is a heaven-ordained means to your success. The appeals, and petitions between you and anyone you visit with, or you and a friend, acts as a part in controlling the affairs of even the nations. PRAYER MOVES HEAVEN. That power alone that comes in answer to prayer will make men wise, and will enable men to work in the unity of the Holy Spirit that can join them together in bonds of peace. PRAYER, FAITH, AND CONFIDENCE IN GOD, bring divine power that sets man’s human calculations at its real worth – nothingness. Place yourself where God can enlighten you. Pray that the earth will be glad and rejoice that Christ bridged the gulf which sin has made. And rejoice that God works day in and day out binding earth and heaven together because He longs to see every soul He ever created - saved (My thoughts with Reflecting Christ, p. 159, and a sentence from, That I May Know Him, p. 82).
