Meekness

Order is the law of heaven, and it should be the law of God’s people on the earth.
The most precious fruit of being sanctified is through the grace of being a meek person. When this grace presides in your soul, your disposition will be molded by its influence. You will have a continual desire to wait upon God and have a submission of your will to His. Your understanding will grasp every divine truth, and your will, shall bow to every divine precept, without doubting or murmuring.
True meekness will soften and subdue your heart and will give your mind a fitness for the engrafted Word. It will bring your thoughts into obedience to Jesus Christ. It will open your heart to desire more of Jesus. You can be as Mary was: a learner at the feet of Jesus. Psalm 25:9 says, “The meek will He guide in judgment: and the meek will He teach His way.” (I added singular with The Sanctified Life, pp. 14, 15).
