Inspiration From the Bible

Do you ever desire to know up-to-date information on world conditions? Then read the Bible. Do you want to be ignorant concerning what is coming upon the world? Then ignore the Bible. We cannot imitate prophetic writings. Prophecies are given by God, who knows the end from the beginning. For proof read Isaiah 46:9, 10; 42:9. Do you want to know why in our day all modern knowledge and wonderful inventions have come for which we crave and enjoy? Read Daniel 12:4 and Nahum 2:3-5. Do you wonder why a state of fear and anxiety exists among nations? Read Luke 21. Do you want to know why there is so much trouble between capital and labor? Study James 5. Do you desire to know why there is so much crime and lawlessness? Timothy 3 and Isaiah 24 will fill you in on that subject. Do you want to know why a program has been launched to evangelize the whole world with the gospel for our time? Matthew 24:14 and Revelation 14:6-12 gives you insight for understanding. The Bible is the only book that gives up-to-date information. We need but to study it to be convinced. God’s Book has a message for all times, for all people, and for all circumstances. When the days are dark for you, the light of the Bible to guide is there for you. When the times are troublous the Bible gives words of comfort. When the outlook is discouraging you can gain confidence. When you are in despair there is hope that only the Bible can give. The Bible is inspired for the creator of man and is also the Author of the Bible (My few word changes and thoughts with This I Believe, by W.B. Ochs, page 19). Sherry
