Heaven is Worth Everything
John the revelator was banished to the Isle of Patmos. He knew what it meant to suffer for Christ. God revealed to him many things that were to occur in the last days. God opened heavens doors before him, and in vision gave him a glimpse of the Son of God for whom he suffered. He saw His countenance that shone as the sun in his strength. John had the privilege of feeling the hand of Christ as it was laid upon him, and he heard His voice saying, “Fear not, I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold I am alive for evermore.” We as Christians can be citizens of the promised heavenly land. We need to look beyond the limitations of our time; for courage, for strength, for inspiration, and the solution for life’s problems. Heaven is worth every effort, every heartache, and any pain we experience on earth. We should desire each day for heaven to be our home. Then one day our last fond hope will be a glorious realization (My thoughts with ‘In the Morning,’ by W.B. Ochs, page 104). Sherry
