God or god?
God or god? Instead of seeking to make God supreme in the love and loyalty of all created beings, Satan longed to secure their devotion to himself. He yearned for the glory that the Father had given to His son. He desired the power and authority that is the right of Christ alone. Even as he was honored and beloved by the heavenly hosts, he started to question in his heart the supremacy of Christ. Satan was blinded by his pride and a self-driven need to be equal with God. In the same way there are humans who are blinded by Satan’s enticing worldly devised distractions. Consequently man then starts denying the saving gospel. Too many throng to Satan’s cunning deceptions and rebuke Jesus and His words. They start following Satan blindly and start doing as he bids them. It’s a desire for many to dream of rising to greater heights which causes them to selfishly neglect what is right. Be watchful not to be blinded by foolish dreams that lead down Satan’s path to his many traps. We need to strive to understand and overcome our weakness as humans. We need to ask God to help us not to fall and fail. We need to ask to have the desire to be what God desires us to be – pure, righteous, and holy.
