Who is Jesus?

Let Jesus be who He says He is..... To the prodigal child; He is a loving father patiently waiting for the child to come home (Luke15:11-32). To the emotionally sick; He is a Giver of life (John 10:10). To the sex, drug, or shopping addict; He is a Healer (Exodus 15:26). To the financially weary person; He is a Provider (Philippians 4:19). To the depressed; He is a Peace-giver (Philippians 4:7) So who do you say He is? For an answer the following suggestions are a good beginning. a. Spend time with Him by making a special time apart in every day to read something about Jesus. b. Focus on pleasing Him, rather than finding pleasures for pleasing yourself. c. Talk to Him. He listens to you and answers prayers, not just while you are on your knees or during your devotions, but He answers the prayers spoken in your mind. Before they call, I will answer, and while they are yet speaking, I will hear." (Isaiah 65:24). d. Trust Him. Let Jesus be who He says He is. Why try solving your own problems or try facing challenges alone, when Jesus promises to be there to help you. Psalms 37:5 says "Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in Him; and he shall bring it to pass." (My thoughts with page 34 from the Collegiate Quarterly on The Book of Luke). Sherry
