Jesus, the Only Way to a Fulfilled Life

Have you ever thought that the compassion of Christ means He is so attuned to humanity that His great heart of love is in the most intimate sympathy with each suffering, sorrowing, and needy person? Jesus forever longs to help anyone in their time of need; there is no need beyond that power. All power is His, and it is constantly being exercised as His supreme goal.....the saving of sinful humans; the saving of you. He is always fulfilling His promise to humanity, made possible by His supreme sacrifice. Without that sacrifice man would be eternally lost. I read out of a devotional that someone wrote, "The compassion of Christ inclines Him to save sinners, the power of Christ enables Him to save sinners, and the promises of Christ binds Him to save sinners." One day Jesus will come to fulfill His pledge to His trusting and faithful people. We need to have hope, build faith, seek Jesus daily, ask for forgiveness, and keep a prayer ascending to heaven to unite us with our Lord and Saviour. And don't forget to thank Him daily for what He continues to do for you. Sherry
