Eternity! A Dream Come True

Who can fathom eternity??? If you question people you will find that they long for more than what living on earth offers. When you experience pain - you long for relief. When you see those suffering from hunger, you question why. And why too are there so many senseless deaths, endless tears, and needless losses. But we experience special moments too. The newborn at our breast, the radiant bride, the beauty of nature while the sunshine warms our back. Yet those moments are simply slivers of light breaking through heaven's window. It's like God flirting with us. God tantalizing us.....of what feels like he's romancing us. Those tender glimpse moments appetize us with what's to come in the future while spending eternity with Him. For "No one has ever imagined what God has prepared for those who love him" (I Corinthians 2:9). Heaven is beyond our imagination. At our most creative moment, when in our deepest thought, at what seems to be our highest level, we will still never fathom eternity. But trying keeps that hope alive within us (My thoughts with Grace for the Moment, page 279). Sherry
